गुरुवार को तहसीलदार सुरेश चौधरी, खंड विकास अधिकारी प्रवीण सिंह के नेतृत्व में मुख्य बाजार ,बस स्टैंड, दक्षिण मेघवाल बस्ती, लोहारों का वास, बाड़मेर चौराहे पर दुकानदारों से अपने प्रतिष्ठानों के आगे डस्टबिन रखने एवं आमजन से कचरा नहीं फैंकने तथा निर्धारित स्थानों पर कचरा डालने की अपील की। साथ ही कचरा फैलाने पर संबंधित के खिलाफ चालान काटने की कार्यवाही की जाएगी। पूरे कस्बे में माइक के माध्यम से एनाउंसमेंट करके स्वच्छ गडरारोड बनाने का आह्वान किया गया।</p>

<p>Cybercrime cases are on the rise, and the government is making continuous efforts to prevent it. In a major step, the government has decided to block 6 lakh mobile phones. Apart from this, the Cyber Wing of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has blocked 65,000 URLs involved in cyber fraud. Additionally, more than 800 applications involved in cyber fraud have been blocked. The I4C wing of the Home Ministry is taking new steps to prevent the growing scams.</p>



<p>According to the 2023 calculations, more than 1 lakh investment scams were reported on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP). 17,000 FIRs have been registered. Between January 2024 and September 2024, 6,000 digital arrests, 20,043 trading scams, 62,687 investment scams, and 1,725 dating scams were reported.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is the &#8216;I4C Wing&#8217;?</h2>



<p>The I4C wing is a unit established to address all cybersecurity-related issues of the general public. It aims to improve coordination between various law enforcement agencies and stakeholders, enhance India&#8217;s overall capability to tackle cybercrime and improve citizen satisfaction levels. It was established on October 5, 2018, under the Central Sector Scheme of the Home Ministry&#8217;s Cyber and Information Security Division (CIS Division). This center monitors high-priority cases in coordination with the control rooms of all states.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What steps have been taken to tackle fraud?</h2>



<p>Considering the rising cases of cybercrime across the country, the wing has established a national-level coordination center, assisting citizens in registering complaints of cybercrime. It is also helping law enforcement agencies to identify patterns and trends of cybercrime, identify fake digital platforms, and take action against them. The wing is making efforts to prevent cybercrime by issuing alerts on digital arrests.</p>

<p>Money launderers use various illegal ways to get money and transfer it, making it difficult to track. The RBI has instructed banks to be vigilant and monitor such accounts closely.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is a Mule Account?</h2>



<p>Mule accounts are bank accounts used for illegal activities, such as money laundering and illegal transactions. In India, such accounts are often opened by people who, in exchange for a commission or fee, allow others to use their accounts for illegal transactions.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How does RBI identify Mule Accounts?</h2>



<p>It is difficult for banks to identify these accounts. However, by keeping a close watch on transactions and monitoring accounts, banks can identify such accounts. If suspected, these accounts can be frozen or closed. According to a report, out of 10 Mule accounts, 9 were not detected by an Indian bank. The study found that these Mule accounts were initially active in India, but later, international VPNs were used for transactions.</p>

<p>The Supreme Court has reprimanded the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for keeping an accused in jail without filing a chargesheet. The court has granted interim bail to Soumya Chaurasia, the then secretary of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, in a coal scam case. Soumya, who has been in jail for over a year and a half, had approached the Supreme Court after her bail plea was rejected by the High Court.</p>

<p><strong>CG Health:</strong> The Advanced Cardiac Institute (ACI) at Ambedkar Hospital has stopped open heart surgery for five months. This is because there is no reagent for the ABG machine. Patients who need valve replacement and hole closure in the heart are forced to wander. Such patients are being referred to AIIMS, but due to long waiting periods, they have no option but to go to private hospitals.</p>



<p>The Escart Heart Center was closed in 2017, and since then, the ACI has not been able to start heart bypass surgery. This is because there are no perfusionists and physician assistants.</p>



<p>Commissioner of Medical Education Kiran Kaushal called a meeting on August 22 with DME, the Dean, the Superintendent, and high officials of SGMC. It was decided that the reagent for the ABG machine would be arranged within a week. However, more than a month has passed, and the reagent has not been arranged. Not only this, but the tender has also not been issued. The reagent is not listed on the GeM portal.</p>



<p>In such a situation, it cannot be purchased from the GeM portal either. The hospital management has the power to purchase the reagent worth Rs 50,000, but even they want to purchase it through the GeM portal. Therefore, the purchase has been stuck. It is difficult to say when open heart surgery will start again. This means patients will have to get their surgery done at private hospitals.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Doctors Do Not Want to Join Due to Low Salary</h2>



<p>A female cardiac anesthetist who was serving on a contract basis at ACI resigned in January. Since then, no new doctor has joined. Even after 9 months, no cardiac anesthetist has joined. This shows that super-specialty doctors do not want to join due to low salaries. The management had started open heart surgery by calling anesthetists, perfusionists, and physician assistants on a payment-per-case basis.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Contractual Assistant Professors Get Rs 1 Lakh Salary</h2>



<p>Recently, the monthly salary for contractual assistant professors has been fixed at Rs 1 lakh. Earlier, they were getting Rs 95,000 per month. There are two regular cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons at ACI. They are performing surgeries related to blood vessels and lungs. Although there is a heart-lung machine, the lack of necessary staff has prevented heart bypass surgery from starting.</p>

<p>Good news for students waiting for the notification of the 70th BPSC exam. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has recently released the notification for the 70th BPSC Preliminary Exam 2024. The notification has been published on the official website of BPSC. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">BPSC Notification 2024: Essential Qualifications</h2>



<p>In this exam, the candidate must be a graduate of a university or institution. The minimum age for the post is 20, 21, or 22 years, and the maximum age is&#8230; Additionally, the maximum age for unreserved male candidates is 37 years, and for unreserved female candidates, it is 40 years. The age will be calculated as of August 1, 2024. General category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600, while SC, ST, and physically disabled candidates from Bihar will have to pay Rs 150.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Total 1957 Posts to be Filled</h2>



<p>Through this recruitment, the commission will fill a total of 1957 posts. Out of these, 1082 posts are for the general category, 315 posts for OBC, 427 posts for E-OBC, 59 posts for OBC women, 246 posts for EWS, 403 posts for SC, and 22 posts for ST. The BPSC CCE 70th Prelims Exam is likely to be held in November. The exam will consist of 150 questions, and candidates will be given two hours to complete it. Only those who pass this exam will be eligible to apply for the BPSC CCE 70th Mains Exam.</p>

If the mother or father has lupus, their children are also at risk of developing it.</p>

<p>Lupus is diagnosed through blood tests, biopsies, and other examinations. Treatment is determined based on the patient&#8217;s symptoms, which helps reduce the severity of the disease. Hydroxychloroquine, corticosteroids, and immunodepressant drugs are used to treat lupus.
