छिंदवाड़ा. जिला प्रशासन व टूरिज्म बोर्ड के संयुक्त प्रयासों से आयोजित तामिया एडवेंचर फेस्टिवल को देश भर के पर्यटकों से जबरदस्त रिस्पॉन्स मिला है। 


 सात दिन तक चले एडवेंचर फेस्टिवल में हजारों पर्यटकों ने शिरकत की और विभिन्न रोमांचकारी एक्टिविटी में भाग लिया। 

अब तक हुए सारे एडवेंचर फेस्टिवल में इस साल का आयोजन सबसे बेहतर साबित हुआ और रिकॉर्ड तोड़ पर्यटक तामिया फेस्टिवल में आए।

इस फेस्टिवल में सात दिन के दौरान 60 हजार से अधिक लोगों की आवाजाही बनी रही। 

तामिया एडवेंचर फेस्टिवल में सबसे ज्यादा आकर्षक का केंद्र पैरामोटर रहा। हवा में उडऩे का रोमांच चाहने वाले पर्यटकों ने इसका भरपूर फायदा लिया। 

नर्मदापुरम, बैतूल, नागपुर, अमरावती, वर्धा, सिवनी, मंडला सहित छिंदवाड़ा के पर्यटकों ने पैरामोटर मेंबैठकर उड़ान भरी। 

तामिया एडवेंचर में पातालकोट का खान-पान पर्यटकों को भा गया। यहां स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने यहां व्यंजन के 25 से भी अधिक फूड स्टॉल लगाए थे। 

कलेक्टर समेत जुन्नारदेव एसडीएम कामिनी ठाकुर व अन्य अधिकारी प्रतिदिन मॉनिटरिंग करते नजर आए।

Sexual Harassment: Delhi University professor accused of harassing minor girl, suspended for six weeks

Sexual Harassment: A professor in the Commerce Department of Ramjas College, has been suspended from teaching duties for six weeks following allegations of sexual harassment of a minor student. Amidst growing protests, he has also resigned from his position as Joint Dean of Student Welfare at Delhi University (DU).



Speaking on the matter, Ramjas Principal Ajay Arora stated that the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), an independent body in higher education institutions that addresses sexual harassment complaints, has begun investigating the case. Arora explained, “The faculty member has been placed under teaching suspension for the next 4-6 weeks while the ICC conducts its investigation. After the report is submitted, the governing body will decide on the punishment.” Arora also confirmed that the professor has resigned from his position as Joint Dean of Student Welfare at Delhi University (DU).



Although suspended from teaching, the accused Professor has not been barred from entering the campus. Protestors have warned of strong action if the Professor is allowed campus access during the investigation. Principal Arora said, “If the situation becomes tense, we will issue a formal notice to restrict his entry.” The incident came to light in December when the student filed a formal complaint with the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC).



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">DUSU and ABVP Protest</h2>



However, due to the alleged inaction of the university administration, a six-hour sit-in protest led by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and the Delhi University Students&#8217; Union (DUSU) took place on Wednesday. Protestors shut down the offices of the Dean and Joint Dean of Student Welfare, demanding immediate action. 



Clarifying the process, DU Registrar Dr. Vikas Gupta said, “The college has the autonomy to conduct the investigation and determine the punishment. The findings will then be sent to the Vice-Chancellor for approval to ensure due process is followed.”



The ICC, established under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, is currently investigating the matter. The committee comprises senior faculty members, non-faculty representatives, students, and a member from an NGO. The university administration has stressed that the investigation should proceed independently, free from external pressure.

According to meteorologists, a new western disturbance is expected to become active in the Himalayan foothills over the next 24 hours. Fake call centers busted in MP: 130 youths detained in raids

Raid on Call Centres: Ujjain police conducted raids on four advisory call centres, apprehending 130 young men and women, along with two operators. Six individuals were running the offices in partnership. These telecallers were defrauding people by opening demat accounts in their names under the guise of share investments. 



Police arrested advisory operators Ajay Panwar and Shashi Malviya. Twelve others, including partners Chandan Bhadauria and Vinay Rathore, are absconding. Four police teams, in collaboration with the crime branch, raided Research Mart Limited (operating above Kuber Hotel), Stock Research and Bullish India, Money Magnet Research Limited (at A.K. Building Chowraha), Choice Broking Firm (in the Teen Batti area), and Angel One Limited (operating on Shankh Marg). All the accused were subsequently taken into custody.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">30% Commission</h2>



Luring people with the promise of high profits in the share market, the telecallers used fraudulent apps to open demat accounts. These fraudulent accounts were managed to deceive investors, and in case of losses, the entire amount was appropriated. Even if investors used pre-existing demat accounts, a 30% commission was charged before investing in any share. This operation had been running in the city for a considerable time, surprisingly evading police attention until now.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">150 Mobiles, 25 Laptops</h2>



Police seized 150 mobile phones, 25 laptops, fraudulent documents, Demat account details, and a list of investors&#8217; mobile numbers. No SEBI license was found on any of the accused. The police have also discovered evidence of transactions worth lakhs of rupees in the accounts.

RIP Rajpal Yadav: Samajwadi Party Leader and Akhilesh Yadav&#39;s Uncle Passes Away

Cummins&#39; Injury Woes: Will Aussie Skipper Miss Champions Trophy?

Pat Cummins&#8217; Injury, Champions Trophy 2025: Australian captain Pat Cummins (पैट कमिंस) has been rested for the Sri Lanka tour by Cricket Australia (CA). Cummins is also expecting his second child, contributing to his decision to skip the tour. However, he is also currently injured, having sustained an injury during the recent Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) against India. This raises concerns about his participation in the Champions Trophy. George Bailey, chairman of selectors for Australia, has provided an update.



With the Champions Trophy starting on February 19th, Cummins&#8217; fitness is a major concern for the Australian team. Bailey told the media, “Pat is currently on leave. He has a minor ankle injury. He will have a scan next week, after which we will have a better understanding of his condition.”



When asked about Cummins&#8217; participation in the Champions Trophy, he responded, “It&#8217;s too early to say. A decision will be made after reviewing the scan results and his progress.” The Australian team is currently grappling with injuries to its key fast bowlers. During the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Cummins played despite pain, while Mitchell Starc also suffered an injury in the fourth Test but managed to play in the Sydney Test.



Meanwhile, Josh Hazlewood’s (जोश हेजलवुड) shin injury ruled him out after the Gabba Test, and he has also been omitted from the Sri Lanka tour squad. Bailey expressed confidence in Hazlewood&#8217;s recovery, stating, “He is working hard, and we are receiving positive news about his progress.”



He clarified that excluding Hazlewood from the Sri Lanka tour was a precautionary measure to ensure his long-term fitness. Bailey said, “It would have taken him a while to be fit for this tour, so he wasn&#8217;t included. But we are confident he will be fully fit and ready for the Champions Trophy.”

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final merit list for the CDS I recruitment examination 2024. A total of 590 candidates have been shortlisted, with 470 selected for the men&#8217;s course and 120 for the women&#8217;s course. Interested candidates can view the final results of UPSC CDS 2024 on the official website, <a href="upsc.gov.in">upsc.gov.in</a>.



The commission further clarified that the medical examination results of the candidates were not considered while preparing the final merit list. UP Police Radio Operator Recruitment 2022: The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court has cancelled the recruitment process for UP Police Radio Operators. Following this court decision, the police department will now initiate a fresh recruitment process. The police department had advertised 936 radio operator positions in 2022. Around 40,000 candidates had applied for this recruitment examination.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What did the Court Say? (Allahabad High Court)</h2>



The Allahabad High Court, during the hearing, stated that the Police Recruitment and Promotion Board does not have the authority to alter the established standards for recruitment examinations. Changes to educational qualifications and other criteria can only be made at the government level. This decision was delivered by the single bench of Justice Alok Mathur.



In 2022, the Police Recruitment Board advertised 936 radio operator positions. The advertisement specified a diploma degree as the eligibility criterion. The then-chairperson of the recruitment board, Renuka Mishra, passed a proposal to also allow degree holders to apply. Subsequently, many degree holders applied. However, the current chairperson of the recruitment board, Rajiv Krishna, revoked the proposal allowing degree holders. Degree holders challenged this decision in the High Court.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Does a Radio Operator Do? </h2>



The police department has various roles. One such role is that of a Radio Head Operator. Their primary responsibility is communication; essentially, they are responsible for maintaining connectivity within the entire police system. This includes relaying messages and information to their department and submitting reports on tasks assigned by assistant operators.
