<p>हाड़ौती अंचल में मौसम का मिजाज बदला-बदला सा रहा। सुबह घने कोहरे से हुई तो दोपहर में तेज धूप ने सर्दी से राहत दी। तेज सर्दी से लोगों की दिनचर्या भी बदल दी। खानपान भी लोग सर्दी के हिसाब से ले रहे हैं। शनिवार को कोटा शहर का अधिकतम तापमान 4 डिग्री बढ़कर 26 व न्यूनतम तापमान 8.8 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहा।</p>

<p>Questioning Arvind Kejriwal, PM Narendra Modi said, &#8220;The country well knows that Modi never built a house for himself, but has built over 4 crore homes for the poor. I too could have built a &#8216;Sheesh Mahal&#8217;. I urge you all, whenever you meet or interact with those living in slums, ensure you tell them that they will definitely get a pucca house, if not today, then tomorrow.&#8221; The PM stated that the development of cities will play a crucial role in realising the goals of a developed India.</p>

<p>PM Modi said that 2025 will be the year to strengthen India&#8217;s position in the world and make it a premium manufacturing hub. He stated, &#8220;Today, the entire nation is engaged in building a &#8216;Developed India&#8217;. We are working with the resolve that every citizen of the country has their own pucca house in a &#8216;Developed India&#8217;. Delhi has a very big role in this resolve, therefore, the BJP-led central government has launched a campaign to build pucca houses in place of slums. People come here from far and wide with their dreams and dedicate their lives honestly to fulfilling those dreams.&#8221;</p>

<p>During his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi became emotional. PM Modi said, &#8220;Today, being here, it&#8217;s natural for many old memories to come back. <p>Tragedy struck New Orleans, United States of America, in the early hours of 1 January. At approximately 3:15 am, a 42-year-old man, driving at high speed, ploughed his truck into a New Year&#8217;s celebration on Bourbon Street. He then opened fire on the revelers, causing widespread panic and a desperate scramble for safety. The attack resulted in 15 fatalities and over 30 injuries. The assailant was subsequently shot and killed by police. He was later identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old former US military serviceman.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Jabbar&#8217;s ISIS Links</h2>



<p>The investigation into the New Orleans attack uncovered an ISIS flag in Jabbar&#8217;s truck. Furthermore, pre-attack social media posts revealed Jabbar&#8217;s self-professed admiration for the Islamic State and his intention to commit mass violence. Consequently, the FBI launched a terrorism investigation, confirming Jabbar&#8217;s affiliation with ISIS.</p>

In response to India&#8217;s first innings total of 185 runs, Australia ended the day on 9 runs for the loss of one wicket. <p><strong>Khel Ratna Award for 2024:</strong> 2024 was a special year for India in terms of sports. The country performed brilliantly in the Olympic and Paralympic events and achieved historic feats in cricket, chess, and several other sports. In addition, 32 other athletes will be awarded the Arjuna Award.</p>



<p>The Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs announced the National Sports Awards 2024 on Thursday. The awardees will receive their awards from the President of India at a special ceremony to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 17 January 2025 at 11 am. Besides Manu Bhaker and Gukesh, Harmanpreet Singh, captain of the Indian men&#8217;s hockey team, who won a bronze medal at the Olympics, and para-athlete Praveen Kumar will be awarded the Khel Ratna. Manu not only hoisted the Indian flag in the individual event at the Olympic Games 2024 but also won a bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event with Sarabjot Singh. This double success at the Paris Olympics has taken her to new heights of success.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Gukesh Crowned Chess Champion</h2>



<p>Chess player D Gukesh will also be awarded the Khel Ratna Award. Gukesh achieved the honour of becoming the youngest world chess champion on 12 December last month. In the World Championship held in Singapore, Gukesh defeated Ding Liren of China to win the title. At just 18 years old, he became the world champion, a world record.</p>

Using the protein <strong>HMGA-1</strong>, found in zebrafish, repairing the human heart may now be possible.
