कोटा. कोटा विश्वविद्यालय का 11वां दीक्षांत समारोह व वर्धमान महावीर खुला वि िका 17वां दीक्षांत समारोह शुक्रवार को पहली बार एक दिन हुआ। राज्यपाल व कुलाधिपति हरिभाऊ बागड़े की अध्यक्षता में दोनों विवि में कुल 145 विद्यार्थियों को स्वर्ण पदक व 5 विद्यार्थियों को कुलाधिपति व कुलपति पदक प्रदान किए गए। इसके अलावा दोनों विवि के 1 लाख 51 हजार 698 विद्यार्थियों को यूजी-पीजी एवं पीएचडी की डिग्री प्रदान की गई। दोनों विवि में छात्र की अपेक्षा छात्राओं को अधिक पदक मिले। समारोह में छात्र-छात्राओं के साथ उनके अभिभावक भी साथ आए।

सूरतगढ़. नेशनल हाइवे 62 पर गांव 4 डीबीएन के पास सेना की जिप्सी की टक्कर से मोटरसाइकिल पर सवार दो युवकों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। हादसा इतना जबरदस्त था कि दोनों वाहन क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए। सूचना मिलने पर सदर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और क्षतिग्रस्त वाहनों को सदर पुलिस थाना लेकर आई। वही, दोनों शवों को सूरतगढ़ सीएचसी की मोर्चरी में रखवाया। इस संबंध में मृतकों के परिजनों को भी सूचित कर दिया। दोनों शवों का रविवार सुबह पोस्टमार्टम करवाया जाएगा। सदर थानाधिकारी रामकुमार लेघा ने बताया कि शनिवार शाम करीब पांच बजे

CBI Raids Across 7 States in Rs 350 Crore Scam

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted raids across seven states, including Rajasthan, in a case involving cyber fraud through luring victims into cryptocurrency transactions and digital currency Ponzi schemes.



The CBI searched 10 locations in Delhi, Jharkhand, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan, targeting seven individuals. A search was also conducted in Chittorgarh (Rajasthan), while other actions took place in Delhi, Hazaribagh, Bathinda, Ratlam, Valsad, and Pudukkottai. A CBI press release stated that a case has been registered against seven accused operating a cybercrime module. The CBI seized ₹34.20 lakh and US$38,414 during the operation. The accused defrauded victims of crores by enticing them with online loans, online lucky draws, UPI fraud, and internet banking scams.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Luring Victims on Social Media</h2>



The accused lured people into Ponzi schemes through various social media groups. Analysis of bank transactions and cryptocurrency wallets revealed that the money obtained from these schemes was being converted into cryptocurrency to conceal its source.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Items Recovered During Searches</h2>



During the searches at 10 locations, the CBI recovered ₹34.20 lakh, seven mobile phones, one laptop, one tablet, three hard disks, 10 pen drives, memory cards, SIM cards, debit and ATM cards, email accounts, and several incriminating documents, including significant digital evidence. Approximately US$38,414 worth of assets were seized from the accused&#8217;s cryptocurrency wallets and digitally secured for investigation. The accused have multiple bank accounts and virtual digital asset wallets on cryptocurrency exchanges. Transactions exceeding ₹350 crore were conducted through these accounts and wallets over two years.

The CBI investigation revealed that the accused possessed multiple bank accounts and virtual digital asset (VDA) wallets with cryptocurrency exchanges such as CoinDCX, WazirX, Zebpay, and BitBns. They used these for fraudulent transactions.

73 Nations&#39; Diplomats to Immerse in Maha Kumbha

Mahakumbh 2025: The Mahakumbh region has now become a spiritual centre for the entire world. For the first time, diplomats from 73 countries are coming to take a holy dip. Notably, the ambassadors of Russia and Ukraine usually considered adversaries, will participate in this historic event. This event will showcase a unique harmony between different cultures and ideologies on the banks of the Ganges. Diplomats from the USA and Bangladesh will also participate in this occasion.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Holy Dip on 1st February</h2>



According to media reports, Maha Kumbha Mela Officer Vijay Kiran Anand stated that on 1st February, diplomats from 73 countries will come to understand and experience the significance of the Maha Kumbh. The Ministry of External Affairs has sent a letter to the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh in this regard. It mentions that all these diplomats wish to visit the Bade Hanuman Mandir and Akshayavat. They will reach Sangam by boat, take a holy dip, and then visit Akshayavat and Bade Hanuman Mandir.



Following this, they will understand the depth of the Mahakumbh through modern technology via the Digital Mahakumbh Experience Centre. They will also attend exhibitions and cultural tours, including visits to the UP State Pavilion, Akharas, Yamuna Complex, Ashok Stambh, and other sites. A special VIP lounge with breakfast arrangements has been made for foreign guests at Bamrauli Airport. Tour guides will also be present. Special arrangements for boats have been made for 140 personnel from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Police Raid on Company Bagh; Two Women Arrested in Sex Trade Crackdown in Alwar

City residents will no longer have to feel ashamed to visit Company Bagh. Following an exposé by Rajasthan Patrika newspaper revealing the prevalence of sex trafficking in Company Bagh, a significant police presence was maintained throughout Friday. Around 8 am, male and female police officers in plain clothes took up positions in Company Bagh. Around 10:30 am, the City CO, Angad Sharma, arrived with his team. This police action caused a stir among those involved in the illicit activities. During the operation, police arrested two women involved in sex trafficking. The City CO inspected the Company Bagh for approximately three hours.



He questioned visitors and provided instructions to the police officers. Harmeet Singh Mehandiratta, President of the Joint Traders&#8217; Federation, and Murari Parashar, former president of the Company Bagh Development Committee, were present during this time.
