छिंदवाड़ा. जिला प्रशासन व टूरिज्म बोर्ड के संयुक्त प्रयासों से आयोजित तामिया एडवेंचर फेस्टिवल को देश भर के पर्यटकों से जबरदस्त रिस्पॉन्स मिला है। 


 सात दिन तक चले एडवेंचर फेस्टिवल में हजारों पर्यटकों ने शिरकत की और विभिन्न रोमांचकारी एक्टिविटी में भाग लिया। 

अब तक हुए सारे एडवेंचर फेस्टिवल में इस साल का आयोजन सबसे बेहतर साबित हुआ और रिकॉर्ड तोड़ पर्यटक तामिया फेस्टिवल में आए।

इस फेस्टिवल में सात दिन के दौरान 60 हजार से अधिक लोगों की आवाजाही बनी रही। 

तामिया एडवेंचर फेस्टिवल में सबसे ज्यादा आकर्षक का केंद्र पैरामोटर रहा। हवा में उडऩे का रोमांच चाहने वाले पर्यटकों ने इसका भरपूर फायदा लिया। 

नर्मदापुरम, बैतूल, नागपुर, अमरावती, वर्धा, सिवनी, मंडला सहित छिंदवाड़ा के पर्यटकों ने पैरामोटर मेंबैठकर उड़ान भरी। 

तामिया एडवेंचर में पातालकोट का खान-पान पर्यटकों को भा गया। यहां स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने यहां व्यंजन के 25 से भी अधिक फूड स्टॉल लगाए थे। 

कलेक्टर समेत जुन्नारदेव एसडीएम कामिनी ठाकुर व अन्य अधिकारी प्रतिदिन मॉनिटरिंग करते नजर आए।

कोटा. हाड़ौती अंचल में कोहरा व शीतलहर के कारण सर्दी का जोर बढ़ता जा रहा है। मंगलवार अलसुबह कोहरा छाया रहा, जिससे दृश्यता काफी कम रही। सोमवार को दृश्यता 500 मीटर थी, जो मंगलवार को घटकर 400 मीटर रह गई। इससे वाहनों की आवाजाही पर असर पड़ा। लोगों को सुबह काम पर जाने में परेशानी हुई। उसके बाद कोहरा छंटा और मौसम खुला। तेज धूप खिली, लेकिन दिनभर शीतलहर का दौर जारी रहा। गलन महसूस होती रही। सर्द हवा के चलते लोग ऊनी कपड़ों में नजर आए। कचौरी व चाय की दुकानों पर भीड़ रही। शाम ढलने के बाद वापस गलन का असर बढ़ गया। लोगों ने हीटर व अलाव का सहारा लिया।

Jaipur: A severe cold wave is set to hit the state for the next two days. According to meteorologists, a new western disturbance is expected to become active in the Himalayan foothills over the next 24 hours. This will lead to strong, icy winds sweeping across the plains of the state, with a possibility of rain accompanied by thunderstorms in some areas. Dense fog is also predicted in some parts of the northwest during mornings and evenings.



Night-time temperatures below 5 degrees Seven districts in the state experienced freezing temperatures last night. The mercury dipped below 5 degrees Celsius in several areas, causing widespread discomfort. Fatehpur recorded 2.0°C, Sikar 4.0°C, Sangaria 4.3°C, Jalore 4.3°C, Churu 4.7°C, Dausa 4.7°C, Karauli 4.2°C, Anta Baran 4.9°C, Sirohi 4.4°C, and Mount Abu 5.2°C.



Night-time temperatures below normal While temperatures fluctuated throughout the state last night, the icy winds that blew throughout the day caused a significant chill. Fake call centers busted in MP: 130 youths detained in raids

Raid on Call Centres: Ujjain police conducted raids on four advisory call centres, apprehending 130 young men and women, along with two operators. Six individuals were running the offices in partnership. These telecallers were defrauding people by opening demat accounts in their names under the guise of share investments. 



Police arrested advisory operators Ajay Panwar and Shashi Malviya. Twelve others, including partners Chandan Bhadauria and Vinay Rathore, are absconding. Four police teams, in collaboration with the crime branch, raided Research Mart Limited (operating above Kuber Hotel), Stock Research and Bullish India, Money Magnet Research Limited (at A.K. Building Chowraha), Choice Broking Firm (in the Teen Batti area), and Angel One Limited (operating on Shankh Marg). All the accused were subsequently taken into custody.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">30% Commission</h2>



Luring people with the promise of high profits in the share market, the telecallers used fraudulent apps to open demat accounts. These fraudulent accounts were managed to deceive investors, and in case of losses, the entire amount was appropriated. Even if investors used pre-existing demat accounts, a 30% commission was charged before investing in any share. This operation had been running in the city for a considerable time, surprisingly evading police attention until now.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">150 Mobiles, 25 Laptops</h2>



Police seized 150 mobile phones, 25 laptops, fraudulent documents, Demat account details, and a list of investors&#8217; mobile numbers. No SEBI license was found on any of the accused. The police have also discovered evidence of transactions worth lakhs of rupees in the accounts.

Travis Head will serve as the vice-captain. Besides Cummins, fast bowler Josh Hazlewood and all-rounder Mitchell Marsh have also been omitted from the squad. Hazlewood is out due to a strain and shin injury. Selectors overlooked Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell. Marsh had a completely unsuccessful Test series against India. Cummins has decided not to tour Sri Lanka due to the birth of his second child.



The squad includes three young players alongside Sam Constantios. 21-year-old uncapped Cooper Connolly has been selected for the first time. Connolly, Todd Murphy, and Matthew Kuhnemann will get a chance to play on the slow pitches of Asia. These two spinners will support Nathan Lyon. McSweeney, who was dropped mid-series against India, has also been included.

Connolly&#8217;s selection marks his first appearance in the Test team. He is a spin bowler as well as a batsman. He has played 4 first-class matches, scoring 309 runs at an average of 61.80 in 6 innings. He has scored 3 fifties, with a highest score of 90. He has also taken 3 wickets. He has also played 2 ODIs and 2 international T20s for Australia.

UPSC CDS I Merit List 2024 Released: 590 Candidates Shortlisted

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final merit list for the CDS I recruitment examination 2024. A total of 590 candidates have been shortlisted, with 470 selected for the men&#8217;s course and 120 for the women&#8217;s course. Interested candidates can view the final results of UPSC CDS 2024 on the official website, <a href="upsc.gov.in">upsc.gov.in</a>.



The commission further clarified that the medical examination results of the candidates were not considered while preparing the final merit list.
