He has held many important responsibilities
Air Marshal Tejinder Singh has commanded a fighter squadron, a radar station, and a major fighter base. He has also served as the Air Officer Commanding of Jammu and Kashmir. During his service, he has held important positions such as Operational Staff at the Air Force Headquarters, Air Commodore (Personnel Officer-1) at the Air Force Headquarters, Deputy Assistant Chief of the Integrated Defence Staff, Financial Planning at the Headquarters IDS, Air Commodore (Aerospace Safety), and Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations) at the Air Force Headquarters.
He has been honored with the Air Force Medal and the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal
He was awarded the Air Force Medal in 2007 and the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal in 2022 for his outstanding services. Air Marshal Singh has become the Deputy Chief of the Air Force at a time when the Air Force is about to take forward several important aircraft projects, including the LCA Mark-1A and LCA Mark-2, and upgrade its Sukhoi-30MKI fleet.
