<p>The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has filed a complaint against Union Minister Giriraj Singh in a court in Kishanganj, Bihar, for giving inflammatory speeches. The AIMIM lawyer claims that Giriraj Singh made statements during his visit to Kishanganj that could spread hatred among communities and hurt the local people&#8217;s sentiments.</p>

<p>The complaint alleges that Giriraj Singh deliberately made statements that could increase tension between Hindu and Muslim communities and harm social harmony. The lawyer said that Giriraj Singh&#8217;s statements have affected the peace and brotherhood in the area and that he has attempted to instigate one community.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Serious allegations levelled in the complaint</h2>



<p>AIMIM worker and lawyer Shams Azad has alleged in the complaint that Giriraj Singh&#8217;s statement, in which he accused Muslims of demolishing temples, is inflammatory and provocative. Shams Azad claimed that such statements would send a wrong message to society and increase communal tension.</p>

<p>The complaint has been filed under sections 196, 197, 199, and 302 of the Indian Penal Code. Video evidence has also been presented in court. The complaint has been filed by AIMIM leader Imtiyaz Alam.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is the whole matter?</h2>



<p>Union Minister Giriraj Singh&#8217;s &#8216;Hindu Swabhiman Yatra&#8217; started on October 18 from Bhagalpur. The yatra passed through Katihar, Purnia, and Araria before reaching Kishanganj on October 22. During his public address, he spoke on issues like Bangladeshi infiltration and made other statements. AIMIM leaders have strongly objected to these statements, saying they promote communal division in society. That is why AIMIM leaders have filed a complaint against Giriraj Singh in the Kishanganj court, alleging that his statements are inflammatory and harm social harmony.</p>

<p><strong>Baramulla Terror Attack: </strong>Jammu and Kashmir&#8217;s Gulmarg witnessed a terrorist attack on Thursday night, in which Jawan Jeevan Singh was martyred. The Indian Army informed his family about his martyrdom on Friday morning, which led to a wave of mourning in the village. Jeevan Singh&#8217;s body was brought to his village Rohan with state honors, where his last rites were performed with full respect. During the last rites, the eyes of the martyr&#8217;s family members and villagers became moist.</p>

<p>The last rites of martyr Jeevan Singh Rathore were performed at his village&#8217;s cremation ground with state honours, where a large number of people attended his final journey. The martyr’s four-year-old daughter, Ananya, performed her father&#8217;s last rites, bringing tears to the eyes of everyone present. His young daughter Bhisha and wife Komal are in deep shock, while his parents are devastated by the untimely loss of their son. The entire village is in mourning, and people are continuously visiting their house to console the family.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">CM Saini pays tribute</h2>



<p>CM Nayab Saini has paid tribute to Rifleman Jeevan Singh, who was martyred in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir&#8217;s Gulmarg. In his tweet, the CM wrote, &#8220;Salutations to the martyrdom of Rifleman Jeevan Singh Ji, who sacrificed his life while performing his duty. The state government stands with the family of the martyr with full sensitivity.&#8221;</p>

<p><strong>India-China Standoff: </strong>After the agreement on Monday, the armies of India and China have started retreating from the Actual Control Line (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. Sources said that the armies of both countries, which were face-to-face at the Depsang and Demchok points, started retreating from Tuesday. This process will be completed by October 28-29, and patrolling will start on October 31. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said on Monday that an agreement had been reached to resolve the issues that arose in the border areas between India and China in 2020.</p>



<p>The armies of both countries have begun dismantling temporary tents and shelters from the Depsang and Demchok points. Armoured vehicles and military equipment are also being withdrawn, aiming to restore the situation to its pre-April 2020 state at these locations. Patrolling will resume once the troops have retreated.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is the Border Dispute?</h2>



<p>-There are seven points in eastern Ladakh where there is a standoff between India and China. These are Patrolling Point 14, also known as Galwan, Patrolling Point 15, also known as Hot Spring, Patrolling Point 17A, also known as Gogra, and the north and south banks of Pangong Lake, where there is tension.</p>



<p>-In April 2020, China had intruded into six areas of eastern Ladakh, following which India had also deployed its troops. By 2022, China had withdrawn its troops from four areas. The Indian army was not being allowed to patrol in Daulat Beg Oldi and Demchok.</p>



<p>-Before April 2020, China had deployed thousands of troops along the border, following which India had also deployed its troops. A bloody clash had taken place between Chinese soldiers and Indian jawans in Galwan in June 2020.</p>

<p>-Two years ago, troops had withdrawn from the Pangong area, also known as the Finger Area, and the patrolling point of Galwan. Then troops had withdrawn from Gogra, also known as Patrolling Point 17, and then from Hot Spring, also known as Patrolling Point 15. Buffer zones have been created here. Talks are on to resume patrolling here.</p>

<p>The Punjab Home Department has found seven police personnel guilty based on the report of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by Special DGP Parbodh Kumar of the Punjab Human Rights Commission. In the case of Lawrence Bishnoi&#8217;s interview, the police registered an FIR on January 5, 2024, at the State Crime Police Station, Phase 4, Mohali, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) &#8211; 384 (extortion), 201 (destruction of evidence), 202 (concealment of information), 506 (threat), 116 (abetment of crime), and 120-B (criminal conspiracy). Additionally, the case was registered under Section 46 of the Jail Act 1894, which was later amended to Section 52(1) of the Jail (Punjab Amendment Act 2011).</p>

<p>A YouTuber couple has been accused of blackmailing a Pandit (priest). This case is from Khátima, Uttarakhand. A resident of Ward 14 filed a complaint with the police, stating that he was a retired educational department employee who now performs puja-paath (worship) services. He alleged that Babita Agarwal, alias Vidhi, and her husband Vaibhav Agarwal, residents of Shiv Colony, invited him to their home for puja-paath. During this time, Babita gave him milk to drink, which was laced with a sedative. After drinking the milk, the priest became unconscious. The couple then stripped him naked and made a video of him. They threatened to upload the video on YouTube and demanded 2.57 lakh rupees from him.</p>



<p>The accused YouTuber couple blackmailed the priest, demanding 2.57 lakh rupees and a mobile phone. They threatened to upload the video on YouTube and kill him if he didn&#8217;t comply. When the priest told them about his financial situation, they threatened to upload the video and kill him if he didn&#8217;t give in to their demands.</p>



<p>The police have registered a case against the accused couple and arrested them. According to SSI Vinod Joshi, the police are investigating the matter.</p>

Rajasthan to establish fifth tiger reserve; roar of tigers to echo soon with 108 villages from Dholpur-Karauli included


<p>The fifth tiger reserve in Rajasthan, Dholpur-Karauli, is expected to start soon. The district administration has marked the buffer zone for the tiger reserve and sent a proposal to the central government&#8217;s forest and environment department for approval. The buffer zone of the tiger reserve will include 108 villages from Dholpur and Karauli districts.</p>



<p>Out of these, 60 villages are from Dholpur and 48 villages are from Karauli. The park will spread over an area of 757.01 square kilometres. The buffer zone will cover an area of 457 square kilometres, while the core area will be 599 square kilometres. The movement of tigers will be possible in this area. This park will be the second in the Bharatpur division, near Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, where tourists can take a jungle safari with tigers.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Leopards, Foxes, and Jackals Will Also Roam</h2>



<p>Alongside tigers, the tiger reserve will also host a variety of other wildlife. The wildlife census in the Sarmathura range reveals more than 40 leopards, approximately 250 foxes, 25 jackals, 10 to 15 hyenas, 15 to 20 wolves, 25 to 30 bears, and 25 to 30 wild boars. Additionally, around 400 nilgai and over 500 wild boars inhabit the sanctuary. Notably, the dense forests of Karauli and Dholpur districts provide an ideal habitat for diverse wildlife.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Movement of 5 tigers in Dholpur&#8217;s boundary</h2>



<p>Currently, five tigers are moving in Dholpur&#8217;s boundary. These include two adult tigers and three cubs. The names of the adult tigers are T-116 and T-117. A female tiger, T-2303, is also roaming in the area.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Tourism will get wings</h2>



<p>The tiger reserve is expected to open for tourists by the beginning of next year. With this, Dholpur will emerge on the tourism map. Currently, tourists visit Dholpur for the Chambal Safari, but it is not well-developed. After the tiger reserve opens, tourists from the NCR region will also be able to visit.</p>
