<p>Why do tsunamis occur? A team of international scientists, including researchers from the Australian National University (ANU), are going on an unprecedented mission to find the answer to this question on the Japan Trench. The Japan Trench is a deep-sea trench located in the western part of the North Pacific Ocean, about 8 kilometers (8,046 meters) deep.</p>

<p>Researchers will use advanced equipment to drill about a kilometer deep into the ocean floor and study the samples obtained from every angle. The director of the expedition, Professor Ron Hackney, said that the expedition also aims to check what changes have occurred in the rocky samples since the devastating earthquake in 2011.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The expedition will last for 7 months</h2>



<p>This expedition is the final stage of a 10-year international research project known as the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP). The mission will last for about seven months. Before this, over the past decade, 81 scientists from Australia and New Zealand have gone on separate drilling expeditions.</p>

<p>The problem of air pollution in the national capital Delhi has started increasing again with the onset of winter. On Sunday, the Air Quality Index (AQI) remained in the very poor category, due to which a layer of fog was seen in the morning sky. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the average AQI in Delhi was 352 till 7:30 am on Sunday. Meanwhile, in Faridabad, the AQI was 216, in Gurugram it was 233, in Ghaziabad it was 375, in Greater Noida it was 346, and in Noida, it was 320.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">AQI crosses 400 in four areas of Delhi</h2>



<p>In four areas of Delhi, the AQI level has crossed 400. These include Anand Vihar with an AQI of 405, Jahangirpuri with an AQI of 408, Nehru Nagar with an AQI of 405, and Vivek Vihar with an AQI of 403. Apart from this, in most areas of Delhi, the AQI level remained between 300 and 400. These include Alipur with an AQI of 400, Ashok Vihar with an AQI of 384, Aya Nagar with an AQI of 329, Bawana with an AQI of 398, Chandni Chowk with an AQI of 318, Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range with an AQI of 346, and DTU with an AQI of 318.</p>

<p>PM Modi stated that people of all ages are falling prey to Digital Arrest and losing their hard-earned money due to fear. In such cases, one should not panic. It is essential to remember that no investigation agency conducts inquiries through phone or video calls.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Raising Awareness</h2>



<p>PM Modi explained three stages to avoid Digital Arrest. He emphasized the importance of &#8216;Stop-Think-Action&#8217;. In the first stage, one should stop and not share personal information. If possible, take a screenshot or record the call. In the second stage, think and understand that no government agency threatens or demands money through phone or video calls. If you feel scared, it&#8217;s likely to be a fraud. In the third stage, take action against such fraud by dialing the cyber helpline number 1930 and reporting it on &#8216;cybercrime.gov.in&#8217;.</p>

<p>Kolkata (Kolkata) RG Kar Medical College and Hospital&#8217;s junior doctors are continuing their protest against the rape and murder of their colleague. The junior doctors&#8217; organization, West Bengal Junior Doctors&#8217; Front (WBJDF), is planning to expand its base from urban areas to rural villages in Bengal. Debasish Halder, one of the leading faces of the movement, said, &#8220;Until the investigation reaches a logical conclusion and our demands are met, our protest will continue. The movement will no longer be limited to the metro, cities, or district headquarters. We will take it to the rural areas.&#8221;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Halder&#8217;s Opinion on the Formation of Rival Union</h2>



<p>On Saturday, Halder also expressed his opinion on the formation of a rival union, the West Bengal Junior Doctors&#8217; Association (WBJDA). He said it was strange that those accused of &#8220;threat culture&#8221; were now forming a union with the support of the ruling party and making big claims. The junior doctors who were recently suspended by the RG Kar Medical College&#8217;s college council for &#8220;threat culture&#8221; have joined the WBJDA.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Aniket Mahato Receives Notice</h2>



<p>A junior doctor associated with WBJDA sent a legal notice to Aniket Mahato. Mahato is one of the leading faces of the protest against the rape and murder of a junior doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The notice was sent in response to his comments during a meeting with the Chief Minister, where he called the suspended doctors &#8220;notorious criminals.&#8221;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rival Association&#8217;s Claim</h2>



<p>Those associated with the rival association claimed that they were the real victims of the &#8220;threat culture&#8221; spread by a group leading the protest against the rape and murder. However, the college council had announced their suspension earlier this month, but the Calcutta High Court recently rejected the council&#8217;s proposal and said that only the state government could decide on the matter.</p>

<p>Cyberabad SOT police busted a VIP rave party at a posh farmhouse in Janwada on the outskirts of Hyderabad. It is reported that BRS executive president and former minister KTR&#8217;s brother-in-law Raj Pakala was involved in organizing the party. The police seized a large quantity of foreign liquor and drugs during the raid.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Case registered under NDPS Act</h2>



<p>After the raid, the participants of the party are being tested for drugs, and one person has been found positive for cocaine. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act in this regard. The police said that the identity of the organizer and participants of the rave party is being ascertained to curb such activities.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Investigation is ongoing</h2>



<p>The police said that further investigation is underway, and the activities of other participants in the party will also be investigated. This incident not only raises concerns about local security but also points to a larger social issue.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Excise Act invoked</h2>



<p>Later, all the liquor bottles were handed over to the excise police, and another case was registered under Section 34 of the Excise Act. The police said that legal action could also be taken against the owner of the farmhouse and the organizer.</p>

<p>कोटा. दशहरा मैदान में बहुप्रतीक्षित ड्रोन शो कार्यक्रम शनिवार रात तकनीकी परेशानी आने से दो घंटे विलम्ब से शुरू हुआ। यह कार्यक्रम शाम 7 बजे शुरू होना था, लेकिन 9 बजे शुरू हो सका। ऐसे में दर्शकों को दो घंटे इंतजार करना पड़ा। इससे पहले श्रीराम रंगमंच के सामने पूरे मैदान में 500 ड्रोन का जाल बिछाया गया। दर्शकों के लिए विजयश्री रंगमंच के सामने बैठने की व्यवस्था की गई थी। रात नौ बजे जब ड्रोन्स ने उड़ान भरी तो लोगों ने तालियां बजाकर स्वागत किया।</p>
<p>करीब 15 मिनट चले ड्रोन शो में ड्रोन को सुनियोजित तरीके से उड़ाकर आकाश में भगवान राम-सीता, भगवान हनुमान, रावण, राम मंदिर, हैप्पी दीपावली समेत रामायण से जुड़े दृश्य आकाश में बनाए तो दशहरा मैदान में दर्शकों की तालियों और भगवान जय श्रीराम के नारे से गूंज उठे।</p>
<p>आईआईटी दिल्ली के स्टार्ट अप बॉटलेब डायनामिक्स का 20 सदस्यीय दल ने कोटा पहुंचकर शो का संचालन किया। 500 ड्रोन का अद्भुद सामंजस्य कभी पक्षी राज जटायु की आकृति ले लेता तो कभी राम भक्त हनुमान की। कभी सीना चीर कर राम लिखा दिखाते हनुमान नजर आते तो कभी संजीवनी लाते हुए दिख जाते।</p>
