Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde Resigns: Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde has resigned as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra today (26 November). Shinde submitted his resignation to Governor CP Radhakrishnan in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar.



With the completion of the Maharashtra Assembly&#8217;s term, Eknath Shinde has resigned as the Chief Minister. The Governor has instructed Shinde to continue as the caretaker Chief Minister until the new Chief Minister takes oath. Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar, Deepak Kesarkar, Dadaji Bhuse, and Chandrakant Raghuvanshi were also present.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Will Fadnavis Be Given Command of Maharashtra?</h2>

Jharkhand, 71 out of 81 MLAs are Crorepatis, Rameshwar Oraon is the Richest, Know Who is the Poorest

Jharkhand Richest- Poorest MLA: Despite being considered a backward state in terms of development, Jharkhand&#8217;s MLAs are economically prosperous. Out of the 80 MLAs who won the recent assembly elections, 71 (89%) are crorepatis. The maximum number of crorepati MLAs belongs to the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM).



The Jharkhand Election Watch and the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) have analysed the election affidavits of 80 out of 81 MLAs, revealing this information. Interestingly, the number of crorepati MLAs in the state increases with each election.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Know Who the Richest and Poorest MLA Is</h2>



– 71 MLAs are crorepatis. In 2014, 41 MLAs were crorepatis, which increased to 56 in the 2019 elections.



– The maximum number of 28 crorepati MLAs belongs to the JMM, followed by 20 from the BJP and 14 from the Congress.



– The richest MLA is Rameshwar Oraon (Congress) with assets worth Rs 42.20 crore.



– The poorest MLA is Jayram Mahato (JLKM) with assets worth Rs 2.55 lakh.



– Educational Qualifications: 50 MLAs are graduates or have higher education, 28 have education up to 12th standard.

Bhopal hit-and-run case: three friends lose their lives

Bhopal Hit and Run Case: A horrific road accident occurred in Bhopal&#8217;s Chola Mandir area, where three young men lost their lives. The accident was a hit and run case, where a speeding vehicle hit a bike, resulting in the death of three friends who were riding the bike.



The accident occurred near the bridge, where the speeding vehicle hit the bike from behind, killing one of the riders on the spot. The other two riders suffered severe injuries, including a broken leg and head injuries, and later succumbed to their injuries.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">All Three Friends Lived in the Same Colony</h2>



The police reported that the three friends, Alfaij, Sameer, and Sameer Khan, lived in the same colony and were childhood friends. They were all in their early twenties and worked as furniture makers.



The locals reported that the three friends had gone to see some work in the Housing Board area and were returning home when the accident occurred. They were all riding the same bike when the speeding vehicle hit them.

In another incident, a youth named Jitendra Singh Solanki, who was injured in a road accident in Bhopal&#8217;s Najirabad area, succumbed to his injuries.

No more cheating in NEET UG 2025: Exam to be held in CBT mode, not pen and paper

NEET UG 2025 In CBT Mode: Important news for NEET UG exam aspirants: From 2025, the exam will no longer be held in pen and paper format. Instead, it will be conducted online. This change comes after a high-level committee was formed to address irregularities in the 2024 NEET UG exam. The government is now reviewing the committee&#8217;s recommendations.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">NEET UG 2025 exam will be held in online mode</h2>



Recently, a special committee headed by Dr. K. Radhakrishnan has recommended several major changes in the NEET UG exam. One of them is to conduct the NEET UG exam in CBT mode. This will not only increase the transparency of the exam but also improve data security. If online exams cannot be conducted for some reason, it has been recommended to adopt a hybrid mode.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Planning to limit attempts</h2>



Not only this, but on the lines of the JEE exam, there is a plan to limit the attempts in NEET UG exam. Under this, students will get a maximum of 4 attempts to take the NEET UG exam. This will make students take the NEET UG exam more seriously. So far, there was no limitation on the number of attempts in the NEET UG exam, due to which students used to take the exam 7-8 times. However, they will not be able to do so now. This may also lead to a significant decrease in the number of students taking the exam.

CISCE releases date sheet, 10th and 12th board exams start in February

CISCE Board Exams Date Sheet: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released the date sheet for ICSE and ISC board exams on Monday. Students can check the date sheet on CISCE&#8217;s official website <a href="https://cisce.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">cisce.org</a>. The 10th class exams will start from February 18 and will continue until March 27. On the other hand, the 12th-class exams will start on February 13 and will continue until April 5.



Students&#8217; wait is now over. CISCE has released the date sheet for the board exams. Students can download a copy of the date sheet from the board&#8217;s official website. According to the released schedule, the 12th class exams will start from February 13 and the 10th class exams will start from February 18.



This year, a total of 1,00,067 applications have been received for the 12th class, including 52,692 boys and 47,375 girls. The exam will be conducted not only in India but also in two international locations, namely the UAE and Singapore.



On the other hand, a total of 2,53,384 students have applied for the 10th class, including 1,35,268 boys and 1,18,116 girls. The exam will be conducted not only in India but also in Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and the UAE.

Israeli Air Strikes Continue in Lebanon, 36 Killed and 17 Injured

Perth [Australia]: India moved back to the top of the World Test Championship standings after clinching their biggest win in Australia (by a margin of runs) in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series opener in Perth on Monday.



In Perth&#8217;s challenging conditions, India made the unexpected happen by scorching its way to a famous 295-run success to go 1-0 up in the series.



India toppled Australia and reclaimed its spot at the summit of the WTC with a point percentage of 61.11 per cent in 15 matches with nine wins and five defeats.



Australia, on the other hand, slipped to the second spot with a point percentage of 57.69 per cent in 13 matches with eight wins and four defeats.



Before India cemented its authority by kicking off the BGT with an emphatic 295-run victory, the visitors held the second spot with a point percentage of 58.33 per cent. India had eight wins and five defeats in 14 matches.



Australia moved to the summit after India&#8217;s historic home Test series whitewash against New Zealand. Australia topped the charts with a point percentage of 62.50 per cent. Before tasting defeat in their stronghold, the Baggy Greens had eight wins and three defeats.



Even in the absence of established mainstays, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Mohammed Shami, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah spearheaded India to a memorable victory.



This was the second instance of India winning a Test series opener in Australia after the renowned success in Adelaide in 2018.



The intent was clear when Bumrah made a brave call to bat first after winning the toss. Heads dropped, and confidence dwindled when India folded on 150 in the first innings.



Everything pointed towards Australia putting the visitors on the back foot, especially after India&#8217;s 3-0 home series defeat humiliation against New Zealand.



Bumrah became the beacon of hope with his rollicking spell in the first innings. He rattled Australia&#8217;s top-order with Mohammed Siraj and Harshit Rana providing the ideal support.



The scorching pace of Indians left Australia packing on 104. In India&#8217;s second turn, centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal (161) and Virat Kohli (100*), with a handy 77 from KL Rahul, propelled India to a mammoth 534-run total.



With the Perth strip still retaining a bit of grass and offering bounce, the entire bowling unit chipped in to contribute towards a famous win. Rana left Alex Carey bamboozled to ensure that the odds were defied in the opening Test as India rejoiced to celebrate the landmark success.

The number of patients suffering from mixed viral fever is increasing. The hospital is witnessing long queues of patients. Fever has spread to every household. Patients who have recovered from viral fever are now feeling unwell due to post-viral syndrome and are complaining of fatigue and weakness. Meanwhile, Dengue fever is not subsiding in Balotra-Barmer. So far, 322 positive cases have been found in Barmer and 147 in Balotra.

The effect of fever is spreading rapidly in both rural and urban areas of Barmer. Patients with viral fever, Dengue, and Malaria are on the rise. Fever is also affecting children. As a result, long queues of patients are being seen in the OPD. Children&#8217;s OPD is also witnessing long queues, and patients have to wait for a long time to get their turn.

According to doctors, patients who have recovered from viral fever often experience fatigue and weakness due to post-viral syndrome. The OPD of the government medical college and hospital is witnessing a daily footfall of over 3500 patients. Most of these patients are suffering from fever and cough cold. The hospital&#8217;s other OPDs do not have such long queues. However, the general OPD witnesses long queues of patients from morning to afternoon.
